Safari Kids’ international nursery in Happy Valley is Hong Kong’s only dedicated international day care centre for children between 12 months and 24 months of age!
We have 1,700 sq ft of space, but only accommodate 10 children at a time to ensure we give full attention to every child in a cozy, warm and loving environment. Our way of thinking is grounded in ‘the smaller, the better’, yet our educational programmes reach for huge progression in your child’s development.
Safari Kid International uses stories, games, tools and sensory-rich environments so that they experience the most amazing way of encountering the world for the first time.
We take those lessons outside when the sun is smiling on us, with a cozy space for sand and water play. Kids from the age of 12 to 24 months have a home in Happy Valley child care if they need it.

Ms Denise Shu
Safari Kid was very helpful, the staff was very helpful.
Parent Ms Marhartya
Safari Kid is a very caring environment, and my elder son is a lot calmer than he's been in the past.
Ms Renate Harris
I think the biggest difference I found with Safari Kid was the communication of what was going on in the classroom with the parent.

PrincipalHi there, My name is Fiona, and I’m in charge of the day-to-day delights for Safari Kid in Hong Kong. For the last 15 years, I’ve been building my experience with early years teaching in the USA and beyond, working in various international schools. Back at Washington State University, I majored in Food Science and Human Nutrition before landing a postgraduate diploma and Master in Education (Early Childhood Education). That’s kept me eager for more challenges with young minds.
Ms Tiffany Rheeder
TeacherHi everyone, I grew up in South Africa, although I’m British by descent, and this gave me an early flavour of existing between several cultures. I graduated from University in Art Direction form the University of Capetown. Teaching took me to an international kindergarten in Thailand; prior to that, I gave child-care services to luxury yacht owners, living with their families in the Mediterranean and the Middle East.
