Located in Chi Fu Fa Yuen, Pok Fu Lam, and with easy access from Kennedy Town to Aberdeen (and everything in between), Safari Kid’s flagship international kindergarten and nursery in Hong Kong has everything on offer for children from 12 months to 6 years! From ball pits and slides to themed play areas, your child will see preschool as a never-ending adventure!
Every inch of the centre has something unique to offer. We have science, art and sand play spaces, alongside large, Reggio-inspired classrooms. Languages include English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, readying children for whatever life holds for your children next!
Thanks to the large, 10,000 sq ft space, we’re able to provide a large play area for physical development through weekly multi-sport activities.
There’s even an option to learn swimming at preschool through our program!

What our parents say
Safari Kid is a very caring environment, and my elder son is a lot calmer than he's been in the past.
Ms Renate Harris
Safari Kid was very helpful, the staff was very helpful.
Parent Ms Marhartya
I think the biggest difference I found with Safari Kid was the communication of what was going on in the classroom with the parent.
Ms Laura Southwood
I really like the school. I like the playground.
Ms Denise Shu
Ms Fiona Chan
PrincipalHi there, My name is Fiona, and I’m in charge of the day-to-day delights for Safari Kid in Hong Kong. For the last 15 years, I’ve been building my experience with early years teaching in the USA and beyond, working in various international schools. Back at Washington State University, I majored in Food Science and Human Nutrition before landing a postgraduate diploma and Master in Education (Early Childhood Education). That’s kept me eager for more challenges with young minds.
Ms Karen Norris
Vice Principal and K2/K3 Class TeacherNice to meet you! I’m Karen. My experience lies mainly with kids between the ages of two and eight, and I love showing them just how confident they can be in themselves, which – really – is what independent learning is all about! I’ve taught around the world for two decades. England was my home, but I’ve since travelled to Denmark, Indonesia and South Korea.
Ms Chloe Reid
K1 Class TeacherHello, I’m originally from Cape Town, but I’ve been with Safari Kid since 2016 and Hong Kong is incredibly close to my heart now too. My speciality is English Immersion: I help children get a grasp of the language, even if it isn’t their native tongue. A lot of that rests on creative learning which, in my view, is the most precious aspect to what we do here.
K1 Mandarin TeacherGreetings everyone, My name is Cara, and I hold a master’s degree from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, supporting my foreign language teaching at Safari Kid Pok Fu Lam. Mandarin is often thought of as a tough vocabulary to pick up, but I help children get a great grasp of it in a matter of months. Aside from my work, I like to play sports and draw.
Ms Alice Cheng
K2/K3 Mandarin TeacherHi, I’m Alice, Mandarin has always been my inspiration, even as a kid myself, when I grew up in Mainland China. That’s why I’ve been head of Mandarin at other learning centres, which melded well with my bilingual playgroup. Now though, I’m committed to Safari Kid, using my six years of tuition experience for group and one-to-one classes in a relaxing environment.
Ms Christina Ng
Teaching AssistantHi all, East meets West? That perfectly describes my background, having been married to my British husband (as well as living in Taiwan and Hong Kong) for the majority of my life. I raised twin boys, so I know just what young kids need to settle down and focus their creative skills.
Ms Hannah Kwong
Administrative ExecutiveHey, I’m Hannah, and I began my career in education before taking four years out to pursue admin for a fashion and modelling agency. It was fun, yet nowhere near as rewarding, so I turned back to early learning in 2017. Speaking to parents and watching their son or daughter bloom in Safari Kid is an unbeatable feeling…
